Kimberley Wilson - Chartered Psychologist

Kimberley Wilson is a Chartered Psychologist and visiting lecturer working in private practice in central London. She is a Governor of the Tavistock & Portman NHS Mental Health Trust and the former Chair of the British Psychological Society’s Training Committee in Counselling Psychology. She formerly led the therapy service at HMP & YOI Holloway, which at the time was Europe’s largest women’s prison (closed summer 2016).

Kimberley believes the way we think about mental health – as separate from physical health – is flawed. Her philosophy of Whole Body Mental Health is a comprehensive approach to mental health care; integrating evidence-based nutrition and lifestyle factors with psychological therapy.

With a degree in nutrition, Kimberley’s work looks at the role food and lifestyle plays in our mental health, including disordered eating, the gut-brain axis and our emotional relationship with food.

Kimberley was the featured mental health expert on several Channel 4 documentaries throughout Spring 2020 and her first book, How to Build a Healthy Brain was published in March 2020 by Yellow Kite.

Dr Martin - Private General Practioner

Dr Martin Saweirs is a private GP based at 55 Harley street, London five days a week. He has over a decade of clinical experience, having graduated from his medical degree in 2009 at The University of Edinburgh. He also has a Postgraduate Diploma with Distinction in Clinical Dermatology, one of his keen areas of interests.

He prides himself on being friendly, approachable and ensuring your medical matters are comprehensively dealt with in a straightforward manner. He sees the full range of family medicine, from new-borns upwards so is ideally placed to provide medical care for the whole family, whatever the issue.

Over many years as a private GP, it was clear to him that one thing above all else is paramount – the personal connection.

Nothing is more frustrating as a patient (and as a doctor) than not seeing the same GP twice, and this is something of the past when you see Dr Saweirs. He always takes the time to get to know his patients, and in turn they reap the immeasurable benefits of true continuity of care.
